The exterior of the house is in much better shape as the exterior work nears completion. All of the roof shingles have been removed and replaced with new roof shingles and flashing. The new roof carries a thirty year warranty and features and algae resistant additive the will combat the growth of algae on shady parts of the roof. Removing the multiple layers of roof shingles greatly reduced the load on the roof framing. With just the single layer of new roof shingles, the roof framing no longer deflected under the weight of the roof.
