Construction begins. The Contractor bid on a set of documents that described the required work in detail. The documents also described the Contractor's use of the building site. The documents included a number of requirements designed to minimize the disturbance to the neighbors and the existing vegetation. Though it was more work to haul the construction waste across the front walk and down the driveway, the mature trees that define the character of the home and the neighborhood were protected by prohibiting heavy traffic in the front yard.
