taylor28design LLC provides architecture services for single-family residential projects. We typically provide services for projects in the Southeastern United States and the Caribbean. This allows us balance our knowledge of vernacular architecture, building technology, culture and climate.

Though we typically use email, web access and electronic documents extensively with our Owners (Clients), an email option is not included here because we prefer to have personal contact with perspective Owners. Like all architecture firms, we can only accept a limited amount of work at any given time. taylor28design LLC does not provide services for commercial projects. We focus exclusively on single-family residential projects.

taylor28design LLC does not offer stock house plans. We work directly with our Owners, as an advocate and guide. This relationship allows us to produce homes that respond to each Owner's vision, project site and the substantial number of considerations that inform great design.

taylor28design LLC does not provide services for design|build companies. Our experience with the design|build project team structure¹ has taught us that it introduces a series of advocacy, communication and financial issues that may not serve the best interests of the Owner. Instead, we prefer to engage Contractors in the design phases through a negotiated bid arrangement written into our agreement with the Owner. We feel this arrangement better serves the interests of all parties.

taylor28design LLC provides services for speculative single-family residential projects. We think you'll find us more sensitive to the requirements for developing a property than most. We can offer some great solutions that set your project apart from the rest and we can educate your advertising/sales staff so they know how to effectively market your project... even in a crowded market place.

If you're sending correspondence, project samples or other materials, please take care to send envelopes and packing materials that can be easily recycled. A piece of mail or a package with recyclable or reusable components makes a much better impression on us than something that looks good but can't be completely recycled.
